myBoard 1.3 is out !
Hi folks !
This week I’ve decided to work on a many times requested feature on myBoard : the ability to delete a magnet, and it is now possible with myBoard Beta 1.3 !
Here is how it works, just move your mouse over the magnet you want to delete, and you will see a “remove” button appear :
Just click and this button, and the magnet is gone for good ! You can always go back into the store to download the [...]

The previous version of myBoard (1.2) should auto update to version 1.3 on next start.
So if you have version 1.2 installed, just restart and you’re ready to go

you see, one time i restarted it and it told me there was an update…i was kinda stupid and i clicked no…now when i restart theres no more notifications saying that the update is available…please help me

@Kirin Ichiban : I’ll try to remember that. Keep in mind that I’m not the original developper of the moco dictionary magnet, I don’t have the source code, so I can’t upgrade it to make it work with myBoard 1.3.

Well it depends on how many features I want to add in the next release, and I’m not really sure how many I will add in Beta 1.4. So I can’t really answer the question.

Hi, I’ve just installed the 1.3 version on xp, but in magnet store there isn’t the old magnet for calendar in which there are clock and calendar like in the older versions.:-( where I can find it????
please help
Ps. MyBoard is really very good, compliments. ther’s only one thing……magnet store is too slow and it crash a lot.:-(

OK I have finally managed to install it on my PC, I have been putting it off and of till I got windows 7 (which works fine with myBoard btw.) I am very impressed by the mew store and the iMeem Magnet, there are just a few things.
1. I miss the Calendar and the Dictionary magnets. would it work if I just downloaded it and installed as before in alpha 1.1?
2. What happened to the original idea of a Spotify Magnet?
3. In the store I find it a tad annoying there isn’t a “remember me” box and you have to log in every time. also the font is a bit small.
4. And this is gonna sound a bit self righteous: didn’t I already design an iTunes magnet? I put it on the forums. It was a bit different in that it was supposed to work with all media players.
Finally I designed a little addon for myBoard, basically it sends the f9 keystroke, on my system activating myBoard should I upload it onto the forums or email it to you? also I have a bit more free time on my hands so if you need anything designed just ask.

4 : The iTunes magnet design you’ve posted on the forum is a png file. This is not enougth to turn it into a magnet. What I need is a complete .AI (Illustrator) file because myBoard is a vector based application, and Illustrator generate vector based images.

except I was there was a calculator, calendar, and a stock app.

Hi a few more things
I have posted that addon on the forums in the general section, is that ok?
Can you recommend any software for designing .AI files so I can convert some of my other designs?
Also I have a problem. The iMeem magnet tells me that the artist hasn’t allowed full playing and only allows 30 seconds, for every song! including the one in your preview which I know must work. do I need to sign up or something?
Finally, you say spotify doesn’t provide API to make a full-blown controller, but I have buttons on my computer that can pause, rewind, step back or forward or change the volume of any media player such as VLC, iTunes, Spotify, etc. Is there anything you can make which does the same?
P.S. A replacement for calculator, calendar and dictionary would also be nice! ;D also please visit my lonely new blog at http://jackhtech.blogspot.com, I have done a review! @JBG : Thanks for your little software, I didn’t have a chance to try it yet. .AI files are from Adobe Illustrator. You need this software to create visuals for magnet, You can also use Photoshop, but I’ll need a clean PSD file with all the different layers. For the imeem problem you are experiencing, I had this problem a couple of times, but I don’t know how to fix it … yet
And about the Spotify API, what you are talking about is not an API, but just shortcuts to remotely control Spotify. What I want from them is an API which lets me listen to their music library WITHOUT having to install Spotify. And they don’t provide such a thing. Thanks for the review !

ok well as soon as I get my laptop back I will be converting that converter magnet I made into AIs. for the imeem, would a simple reinstall help? and also in my view a good idea for a magnet is something that does what I described: pause, rewind, step back or forward or change the volume of any media player such as VLC, iTunes, Spotify, etc. once you have it installed – if I design one do you think you coulld make it?

@JBG : Well the iMeem magnet I wrote is NOT a remote, it is a stand alone app, it doesn’t require any other app to be installed or running to work properly. I just don’t undestand the point of creating a remote for Spotify because it would require spotify to be running. If Spotify is running, why don’t we just change track/play/pause on spotify directly. It’s like the myTunes magnet, I’m still not convinced by the concept because it requires iTunes to be running. But if a lot of you guys want a remote for spotify, and you show me a software that does it (so I have a proof it’s possible) I’ll use your skin to do it then

ok I don’t have an example but on my laptop (inspiron 1525) and indeed a lot of other remotes and keyboards there are buttons that can do what I described for most media players, as long as they are open, using something apparently called COM. I am not sure how they handle if you have multiple media players open at once, but on my skin which I posted on the forums I just put in a drop down menu. In my view this would be a nice magnet as it is so easy, you can have the music playing in the background and then just press F9 and control it. shall I wait until my laptop comes back and make an AI instead though?

I just get this , I downloaded the file correctly , but it won’t let me register to enter the store.
I now used 2 different @live accounts and 1 @hotmail account.
But it just doesn’t register.
It does say that if i try to do it again with my 2 @ live accounts and my 1 @hotmail account , that there is already someone who registered
with that adress..
So what’s the deal ? It seems to be a great program , so i’d like to make use of it , but it doesn’t allow me..

Hello Friend.
I am impressed with the program you’ve created, I followed all the “releases” that you get. It is an excellent program.
Indeed it would be good if someone would create more “widgets”. I’ve had several ideas, like create them as well as those who come on the dashboard of Mac, like lava lamp and others.
I am a student, in the animation program, I have something in flash but I’m lost about .Dll files.
It would be good to get create a widget and share it.

I got the following error when i started myBoard…. i get it everytime i start it…
is there a fix for this… i had a working myboard before but i still installed the new version and it gives the below mentioned error.. am still waiting for a stable version of myboard along with a good stable version of Webnet !!!
